We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Innovation Engineer to join our team at Simpang Ampat, Penang, Malaysia.  As an Innovation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the entire product development lifecycle, from concept generation to prototyping and testing.  You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and bring cutting-edge products to market.    

What You’ll Do:

• Ideation and Conceptualization: Generate and evaluate innovative product concepts based on user needs, market trends, and technological advancements.    

• Design and Development: Design, prototype, and test new products and components using CAD software, 3D printing, and other relevant tools.    

• Engineering Analysis: Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize product performance and ensure reliability.    

• Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes, gather data, and iterate designs based on feedback and results.    

• Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, manufacturing engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless product development.    

• Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and manufacturing instructions.    

• Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive continuous innovation.    

• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the product development process.    

  
  

Who We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.    

• Proven experience in product design and development, preferably in a fast-paced innovation-driven environment.    

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).    

• Experience with prototyping and fabrication techniques (e.g., 3D printing, CNC machining).    

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.    

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.    

• A passion for innovation and a desire to make a positive impact on human lives.    

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.    

• Experience with FEA and simulation software is a plus.    

• Experience with programming such as Python, or C++ is a plus.
